poop.rashes and more POOP!

I think their has been poop on every inch of my apartment this weekend. Why? Well my poor Lane has horrible diaper rash since she has diarrhea from being on an antibiotic I mean BAD diaper rash, like screaming crossing her ankles and squeezing her legs together so you can wipe her bad.

So in the morning after I took her diaper off I just wrapped a burp cloth/cloth diaper thing around her butt and sat her in her high chair for breakfast. ya know to catch her pee...........nope she pooped and it was not the turd kind.

So I pulled her out of her seat right away to change it so it would not irritate her skin anymore and shes kicking and grabbing so now the poop is all over her so I sit her in the sink to wash it off since the wipes hurt and I cant grab anything else to wipe her with because i'm holding a twenty lb baby away from me so we are both not coated in poop. So the sink now has poop all over it and I manage to wash a little off while she is climbing up my body. And the saddest/sweetest part is after I change her and she is all upset she just wants to snuggle me even though I just caused her pain:( I love my sweet girl

Any way I eventually clean her up and diapered and I set her down to play and start retracing my steps to clean
1. poop on highchair (disinfect)
2. poop in sink (disinfect)
3. poop in cloth diaper (soak in toilet)
4. poop on pajamas and changing table pad (scrub with dreft stain remover)

phew I hope you were not eating and reading this,I wont talk about poop again....at least not for a while, sorry if this was TMI :)

and I do realize this all could have been avoided if I just put a diaper on her........yes I am complaining about my own error

p.s do you think I could say SO one more time hehe :p

Friday is national SIDS awarness day......

I found this list of ways to reduce the risk of SIDS and thought I would share it. I was fortunate enough to go to many classes while I was pregnant and have a family who is very informed about reducing the risk but I know not everyone does so here is the list:

1. Back to sleep- NEVER place a baby in a crib on their stomach!

2.Use a firm sleep surface

3. Keep soft objects and loose bedding out of the crib (blankets, stuffed animals ect..)

4. DO NOT USE BUMPERS (if you choose to do so..use breathable ones only!)

5. Do not smoke during pregnancy - Do not let your infant be around smoke at all!

6.A separate but proximate sleeping environment is recommended

7. Consider offering a pacifier at nap time and bedtime

8.Avoid overheating- Install a ceiling fan in the babies room. Put it on low.

9.Encourage “tummy time” when the infant is awake and observed.

SIDS is the #1 cause of death in infants from one month to one year

Dear Miss Lane Train,
You are almost TEN months old! Every day you seem more and more grown up. I love the way you talk and the words you say, ah da! ah da! (all done) doh! doh! (dog) and sometimes I swear you are speaking Japanese:)

You keep mommy and daddy on our toes, you are interested in shutting doors right now which is freaking adorable! Except when you shut it and sit right behind it so I cant open it then its scary!

You are the most beautiful  baby girl I have ever laid my eyes on. I love you so much it hurts. I try so hard to absorb every little detail of every day with you because I don't want to forget anything, I don't want to forget how funny it is when dive into my chest letting me know you want to nurse, or the funny way you shift your hips from side to side to crawl, or the sweet way you sleep with your arms straight down at your sides with your palms face up.

Some days I'm tired and some days I may seem distracted, but always know I love you baby

My daughter is HILARIOUS! This morning she started fake laughing! oh my god I was cracking up! I am not sure how to explain it, it was sort of like 'heh' 'heh' and she was smiling and throwing her head back hahahahaha im not sure if that is an imitation of me or what but it was too damn funny! She also started kissing this week, and a few times this morning she just came up to me and kissed me! Then she does this cute little bashful smile after BAH she melts my heart!

When it is just Lane and I hanging out I put a show on tv from Netflix usually a childrens show but she couldn't care less about whats on she doesn't even glance at it, its more for me to not go insane with the silence. BUT our internet is not working on the PS3 so no Netflix, weeeeeelll I put on the first Harry Potter movie and Lane watched some of it! Not for very long but she occasionally watched it! Oh I am so proud!

She has also outsmarted me. ok not me but my "baby-proofing". I put up a black piece of fabric around the tv stand and  it worked really well.........for a month. Now my curious little George has found out she can just go over to the side and their is an opening!

Yup she outsmarted me. She is the most curious baby I know! I think she has her daddys perfect eyesight becuase she can find everything! The other day she saw a dog across the street and started saying "doh" "doh!" I couldn't believe it! It was really far away and it was a big black dog and she has never seen a big black dog but she sure new what it was!

Well im off to relax during nap time:)

So all of my girls have been in Florida this week, lucky girls! And I have been here in the snow and cold.
But I can not complain Laney and I have had so much fun together! She has been so funny, and she knows shes funny. She will do something silly and then look up at me with a smile, and I giggle of course because it IS funny, and she does it again! ha I love her so much! it has been a really care free week no expectations just the whole day to do whatever we want! Well we had a few appointments and I MISSED her nine month check up like a LOSER MOM! I didn't even know it was the 30th! I was just sitting on the couch after I put Laney down and I was like "hmmmm she has a Dr appointment on the 30th I should check the date.....holyasedlkjsheuiof" yup something like that. oh ya and they did call me to remind me maybe I should have checked my 5 voice mails.............yup pretty carefree huh?! We did make it to her WIC appointment today, they pricked her toe which she handled like a champ and her iron was a smidge low its supposed to be 11 and hers was 10.9. So when we got home I opened up one of those "tasty" looking jars of pureed chicken, and Lane started crying, she was sleepy so I didn't even try feeding her the meat. So the meat was sitting in a bowl and the smell of it filled the apartment, I opened a window and put it on the back porch. I didn't even want that thing in my trash can it smelled SO BAD! After she woke up i gave her a big bowl of rice cereal with mango's in it:) she chowed the whole thing:) When we were at WIC they asked me if I was still breastfeeding and I said yes, she was so happy she told on of the other ladies. WIC is for low income families so a lot of them don't breastfeed which doesn't make sense to me because BFing is free.......................besides all of the other awesome benefits it gives your baby it saves you a ton of money. Oh well whatareyagonnado

I'M BACK!!!!

 well I didn't go anywhere I just suck at blogging I guess! So their is nothing wrong with me.........I mean they didn't find out why I am so tired. I am guessing its because I am waking up two times a night.Laney has been sick for a while now, she had a cold starting when I was still at my moms and now it has turned into a sinus infection. It has been hard she isn't like "all I want to do is cuddle" sick, just like "I want to play but i want to be in your arms while i am doing it", which i love playing with her but trying to put on my bra and tie my shoes while holding my 8 1/2 month old sweetheart is quite difficult. We went to the Dr. and got some antibiotics and are finally starting to feel better. and and and the past two nights she has only woken up once at 4!! eeeeeeeeeee I have felt so much better!!! I am not going to do any 'sleep training' because when she wakes up at 4 that girl eats!

Wedding planning has really taken off! I suppose it should have like four months ago considering my wedding is in 3 months! I am so excited! My mom has really gotten into it which makes me so happy:)

This was taken on Sunday, we went to church with my mom, and it fell right at her nap time and she slept the whole time on my mom it was so so so sweet! she also got blessed by the priest:) it was really nice i enjoyed going with my family
